Francesca Anderegg

Francesca Anderegg is an American violinist known for championing contemporary and Latin American repertoire, with a reputation built on the New York Times's praise for her rich tone and virtuosic panache. Trained at Harvard and Juilliard, she made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2008 and has performed frequently with the Minnesota Orchestra. She now teaches at St. Olaf College.

Francesca Anderegg earned an undergraduate degree from Harvard University and both a master's and a doctorate from the Juilliard School, studying with Robert Mann, Ronald Copes, and Naoko Tanaka. She played in the Minnesota Orchestra's first violin section from 2014 to 2015 and now teaches as Associate Professor of Violin at St. Olaf College, after previously teaching at Interlochen Center for the Arts.
