In short

Edward Pulgar is a violinist listed with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra in Knoxville, Tennessee. He appears in chamber music concerts in January and February 2027, small-group programs where each player is heard clearly.

What to listen for

The February program, Fire and Frost, offers a Prokofiev sonata for two violins, Shostakovich's pieces for double string quartet, and Tchaikovsky's Souvenir de Florence, a warm sextet for six string players. In chamber music the violin is one voice among a few, so listen for how the players pass a tune back and forth. The January concert pairs a woodwind quintet with a string quartet, including a Haydn quartet.
